Is Firefall free?
Yes. It runs in your browser, with nothing to install and no account needed. An account adds leaderboards and keeps your progress on every device.
Is my music uploaded?
No. Songs are analysed in your browser and the sound stays on your device. Leaderboards only use a short fingerprint that can’t be turned back into sound.
Which songs can I play?
Any audio file you own: MP3, WAV, FLAC, OGG or M4A. A new free song comes out every week too.
What are Classic and Auto?
In Classic each lane is an instrument, from the kick on the left to the hats on the right. In Auto the lanes follow the melody up and down.
How do the fireworks work?
Each note you hit fires the firework loaded on its lane. The shell sets the height, your accuracy the size of the burst. The more of the sky your show lights, the more credits you earn for new fireworks.
Does it work on phones?
Yes, in any recent browser. On a computer, play with D, F, Space, J and K. On a phone, tap the lanes.
